PhD Ezequiel Villanueva Ruiz

When Ezequiel Villanueva Ruiz began his educational journey, he was shaped by public education systems that nurtured his passion for science, language, and the natural world.

From his early schooling in Mexico to his work as an educator in rural Kansas, suburban in Glenwood, and urban Aurora & Denver, he experienced the transformative impact of public schools across diverse communities.

These experiences laid the groundwork for his academic path in plant sciences and education and sparked a lifelong commitment to teaching, innovation, and equity.

Today, Ezequiel is a bilingual STEAM AgriTech educator, horticultural scientist, and advocate for culturally relevant education.

He is dedicated to ensuring that every student—especially those from historically underserved backgrounds—has access to meaningful, hands-on learning opportunities.

Through projects that integrate STEAM AgriTech, hydroponics, greenhouses, AI-powered robotics, and global bilingual collaboration, Ezequiel continues to create inclusive and inspiring educational environments.

His mission is to empower youth to thrive academically, connect deeply with their environment, and develop the skills and confidence to shape a more equitable and sustainable future.
